Goodland 3

With my back to the water, got the roof lines and the flag. The foreground presented a problem solving challenge, tried to just put down brushstrokes and not blend or smudge them together.

    1. Thanks Doug! I envy you being able to get out to paint plein air more often then we in the northeast seem too. I'm a bit of a "fair weather" painter.

  3. I like the simplicity of the brushwork and the close values.
    You asked me to elaborate on the 'tangent' in the piggy painting \.
    I hadn't noticed it while I was working but the tangent runs right through the reflected light in the painting. Lines up with it.
