I wanted to post before the month ends..time is really flying by.
Out at Beavertail State Park on the tip of Jamestown, RI -painting and taking photo references for when it gets too cold to paint outside. I know some Plein Air artists who are out there in the snow, but that’s just not me. I like to be relatively comfortable- so the New England outdoor painting season is over for me. Grateful I have a moving winter home (our RV) and can enjoy the warmer climates.
My painting companion Cooper enjoying the day.
This one isn’t quite finished so we can call it a “progress shot”- the light side of the buildings need to be lighter and then there’s the sky…16x20”and still on the easel.
Detail of Beavertail Lighthouse- 8x8”and soon available at Spring Bull Gallery here in Newport, RI.
