Kicks

Kicks- a 12x12 painting on a cradled panel just went home with a new collector as a gift for her daughter. These are my granddaughters’ sneakers and I painted them with a pink background for her birthday a couple of years ago, and decided to paint another version in blue. I wish I had kept some of the fabulous shoes from years ago, when I wore the highest heels and platform sandals. They would be fun to paint, but not to wear! Can you relate to me?

Off Season

Off Season depicts a summer business, typical of those dotting our coastal towns. Shuttered and quiet at this moment in time, but soon will be filled with all the senses of summer. Smell the salt air, you’re only steps from the ocean! Available in my DailyPaintworks Gallery for $450 with free shipping in the US.

Spanish Moss

Spanish Moss- the live oaks in the south drip with it, and it’s been a fascination of mine since I’ve been spending time in the low country of South Carolina. This was painted on the Skidaway River with the Savannah Plein Air Painters and was every bit the challenge I thought it might be! Available now with free shipping in my gallery at Daily Paintworks.

All Is Well

Happy to be painting outside last weekend for the Cuttyhunk Plein Air Festival which was held virtually. My cousins used to go there every summer and taking the ferry to visit really made the trip special. Sweet little island is the outermost of the Elizabeth Islands in Massachusetts; the residents and Policer officers ride about in golf carts!
My painting All Is Well, is 10x8, oil on panel and will soon be added to my Daily Paintworks gallery. Available with free shipping for $300 in the USA. Thanks for looking!
Update- SOLD !!!

I came across this lovely metal chair in front of a coffee shop and thought it might be a fun subject for a painting.

Design by JANUS et Cie.

We are on the road in our motorhome and it was a rainy day, so I picked up watercolor (which is not my usual media) and started in. I love a good challenge, and here’s my effort. Waiting for a white mat I ordered, then it will appear in my Daily Paintworks Gallery.
