Cut Paper

When the time is short and materials scarce- try a cut paper collage. Feeling zen to me. Sit back and relax kind of afternoon.

    Beautiful for its clarity and design. Immediately brings to my mind a plow. Or a chinese character, a Motherwell, or Notan. If you used this in another painting and used any colors but kept values intact, then what would appear? something realistic, something abstract? Wouldn't really matter because it would remain beautiful/recognizable in its own right? Hmmm, just musing.
