When I was in Annapolis earlier this month, I wanted to do some plein air studies. We were staying in our RV at a friends house, deep in the woods. Walking around, I noticed this woodpile and thought "that's it". Something simple. Well, you know as well as I do, it's never simple. The morning was cold, in the 40's, but I'm glad I stuck it out to do this little 6x6 study.
