11x14 canvas on panel, not liking this surface, is it canvas or a panel? It wants to be both but I'm not happy. Or is it an excuse for my painting, which was a struggle all night long. Wiped out my sad attempts at features 5 times, enough already. She is so lovely, but that's not what this is about. I hope I am growing in ways I just can't see yet.
