Another study done with the palette knife. I'm going to hang them horizontally and you will see the table top and unity between the last 3 paintings. What's next? Planning a big studio painting of the harbour scene.
Great work with the knife. I want to incorporate it more into my work too. You have a lot of control with the knife which is something I still need to work on. I used it for premixing some piles of colors, but when painting when time is limited (plein air for instance) I feel I prefer the brush because It doesn't take you out of the flow of painting. Looking forward to following your work!
I like everything about this trio of paintings. Would love to see a photo when you hang them together. Beautiful muted but rich palette.
