The Whole Color Wheel
For this next to last post in the 30 Day Challenge I used this scarf filled with rainbow hues. I've been painting from direct observation every day, working my way around the color wheel. All the colors are represented here, and doesn't it speak to you of spring? Painting every day has made this somewhat long and cold month whiz by! I hung the hanger (purple-my last color) on the windowsill and painted by natural light while my grandchildren watched. They are very familiar with my work but have never sat in on a session. I love admirers of any age; it was fun listening to their comments as the painting came to life!
